My Approach
Although I rely on many different therapeutic approaches, I lean more toward Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) in my approach to treatment. It is my goal to help those who are struggling mentally and emotionally understand how they may develop abnormal or maladaptive behaviors in their battle toward emotional health and well-being. I also believe that it is essential to help those who are struggling with troubling behaviors, see that their negative thought patterns can oftentimes dictate their feelings and behaviors. It is my goal, through treatment, to help those who are declining in their mental health by decreasing or eliminating their negative thought patterns and behaviors.
I will work with clients to help them identify unhealthy thought patterns, and negative behaviors/belief systems. I will encourage and educate clients on how to implement healthier copies strategies that will promote positive thinking, affirmations, and overall positive behavior changes.
